Colega began in 2014 with one car and one rule that has not changed since: the price you are told is the price you pay.
Our story
Anyone who has landed at Amilcar Cabral at two in the morning knows the feeling. The queue outside arrivals, the fare that changes once the bags are in the boot, the surcharge nobody mentioned. We built Colega so that stops happening to people arriving on our island.
Every driver is licensed, insured and from Sal. They know which road floods after rain, which hotel entrance the gate closes at midnight, and where the blue eye at Buracona actually catches the light.
Today we run airport transfers, private tours and day charters across the island, in five languages, every day of the year.
What we hold ourselves to
Quoted online, honoured at the door. Night surcharges are shown before you pay, never after.
Delayed flights cost you nothing. We follow the flight number and adjust the pickup ourselves.
WhatsApp goes to a human on Sal, not a call centre in another time zone.
Fixed-price transfers and small-group tours, run by people who have lived on Sal their whole lives.
